These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website; www.thepersonalisedweddingroom.co.uk. By accessing or using this website you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
This website is operated by The Personalised Wedding Room a company which is located at; Unit 18 Oak Street Industrial Estate, Cradley Heath, West Midlands, B64 5JY. Any reference in these terms and conditions to “we” or “us” refers to The Personalised Wedding Room.
We ensure that your name, address, credit card details and any other information you give us will be kept securely. Details are processed in accordance with local law and are not sold to any third parties.
2. Product Information & Descriptions
All of our product images are taken to ensure that the best possible results are a true likeness of the product. We will take all reasonable care to make sure that all descriptions, details, and images of the products appear on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We do aim to keep our website as up to date as we can however, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that the product colours, descriptions and other content available are accurate, reliable, current or error free.
All transactions on our website are processed in GBP (£). Exchange rates are an estimate only and are based on the latest figures.
You are able to pay for products using PayPal, debit card and credit card. We accept the following cards; Visa/Delta/Electron, MasterCard/Eurocard, PayPal Top Up Card, Maestro, American Express and debit cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo. You confirm that the credit or debit card account that is being used is yours.
All credit and debit card payments are subject to validation checks and authorised by the card issuer. However, if the issuer of your debit/credit card refuses or does not for any reason authorise the payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
At The Personalised Wedding Room, we do not store any card payment details.
4. Order Processing
Once an order has been received we aim to deliver your items within 7-10 working days. If you do need your items sooner, then please contact us and we can advise you whether we can meet your deadline. If we cannot fulfil the order within this time frame our customer service team will be in contact with you.
Your order will be delivered using the delivery service that you select when placing your order. The delivery options that are currently available shall be those in force at the time you place your order. Please visit our Delivery & Returns page to view all of our delivery options.
Any delivery timescales quoted to you are an indicative only. Orders may be delivered in one or more parts. We do not accept any liability for delayed delivery by any third party.
Free UK delivery on orders placed over £100
Please note that due to our items being personalised we do not offer returns or exchanges on our items. So please make sure that the correct size(s) are ordered and personalised names are spelt correctly. Please visit our Delivery & Returns page to view our returns policy.
You can order products online via www.thepersonalisedweddingroom.co.uk. When you place an order for a product you are committing to buy it for the price that is stated. We will send you an order acknowledgement by email. However, we may refuse to accept an order if;
1. We do not receive your payment
2. There has been a pricing, discount offer or products description error
3. The ordered products are out of stock or discontinued
4. Personalised products contain content which may cause annoyance or inconvenience such as; indecent, offensive, racist etc.
In any refusal we will immediately refund your debit/credit card for the total amount debited where your credit card has been charged.
Terms & Conditions of Hiring Items
1. Booking Details
All bookings will be considered as provisional until a signed copy of these Terms & Conditions are received from the client along with a non-refundable deposit of 50% and only if they have been accepted by The Personalised Wedding Room will the booking be confirmed.
The Personalised Wedding Room is under no obligation to continue holding provisional bookings beyond the given option date (this is usually 10 working days from the time of booking). For the purpose of the agreement ‘working days’ are Monday to Friday inclusive.
2. Price & Payment
All prices that are quoted by The Personalised Wedding Room may be amended when agreed with the client and the client will reasonably consider any errors or omissions or where an increase is caused by a change in the circumstances beyond the reasonable control of The Personalised Wedding Room.
Any query you may have from an invoice must be notified to The Personalised Wedding Room in writing by the client within 10 working days of the date of the invoice receipt. Failure to comply will render the full invoice payable on the due date.
It is strictly the responsibility of the representative of the client confirming the booking to inform all relevant parties of the payment terms, as set out by The Personalised Wedding Room.
A deposit of 50% of the total fee payable (including VAT), as quoted and agreed in the written proposal of any event shall be payable on confirmation of the order. The remaining 50% shall be known as the ‘balance’ and this will be payable 14 working days prior to the event date.
Any additional expenses or fees resulting from any changes made by the client that have not been quoted in the agreed proposal but subsequently incurred by The Personalised Wedding Room will be invoices for separately after the event. The payment will be due within 5 working days of presentation, any queries will need to be raised within 3 working days.
If a late booking is made (within 20 working days) of the event date payment will be required in full to secure the event.
3. Methods of Payment
You are able to pay for hire of our items using PayPal and BACS transfer. Details are available on request. Please contact us via email; firstname.lastname@example.org to request these details and inform us of any bank transfers.
These terms apply to the following where the client (a) cancels the entire event, (b) cancel partial use of the facilities for the event or (c) reduces the duration of the event as a result of which the contracted value is reduced.
Should an event be cancelled, the following cancellation charges will apply and extend to total charge which includes; any required accommodation, function room hire, equipment, pre-booked food and beverage charges. In addition, the client will settle any third party charges incurred by The Personalised Wedding Room on behalf of the client.
– More than 120 working days prior to the event (Nil)
– 120 to 61 working days prior to the event (50%)
– 60 to 31 working days prior to the event (80%)
– 31 working days or less prior to the event (100%)
All cancellations must be received in writing from the client and will be deemed to take effect from the date of receipt. The Personalised Wedding Room reserves the right to cancel the client’s booking if there has been a change of more than 40% of the client’s original contract. Written notification will be sent to the client.
Any postponements of confirmed contracted business will be considered as a cancellation in accordance with the above cancellation %. However, if the revised event date is provided, agreed and takes place within 130 working days of the original event date, payments received by The Personalised Wedding Room from the client shall form a credit towards the future event. The client shall in that eventuality be liable for any and all costs or expenses incurred by The Personalised Wedding Room as a direct result of postponement.
Some events the activities that the Clients will undertake may be inherently dangerous although all guests are fully supervised throughout. As such neither The Personalised Wedding Room or its employees or agents shall be liable for any damage, loss, delay or expenses caused to the client, its employees, agents, licensees or invitees or any other persons attending the event except insofar as it results from the negligence of The Personalised Wedding Room or breach of contract. Please note that during particular events and on certain activities it may be necessary to request individuals to sign a liability waiver on the day of the event (although the same does not purport to exclude liability for damage to personal property of the Clients employees or staff or property damage caused to the Clients property or personal injury arising as a result of the negligence of The Personalised Wedding Room), in which instances we agree to indemnify and hold the Client harmless against all such claims. We shall provide Public Liability insurance cover of £5million for each and every claim.
6. Force Majeure
The Personalised Wedding Room shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God (other than one arising from or related to directly or indirectly from volcanic ash), strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of plant or machinery, and The Personalised Wedding Room shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.
If any term or provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the provisions hereof shall continue in full force and effect as if these Terms and Conditions had been agreed with the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision eliminated.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
9. Entire Agreement
This Agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter and supersedes any previous agreements, arrangements, undertakings or proposals, oral or written. Unless expressly provided elsewhere in this Agreement, this Agreement may be varied only by a document signed by both parties.
